Something More Personal...

Some of our friends find the following web page...
►
Exceptional Venues
...
strange
(but some others really love it,
or at least this is what they tell to George).
George says that
all
women love the above web pages, and women are great compliance
officers... so I understood he had women in his mind when he
designed the pages...
[George's
comment:
There is peace, there is passion... ok... I accept that
the horses at the above pages are quite unusual... but these pages
capture my vision, my dream about training, and inspire me!]
[Lyn's
comment:
This is what happens when you give a creative job to a compliance
expert... ]

Well, what about the following "compliance" related marketing tool
What? Looks like wedding flowers? George believes that "in terms
of aesthetics our web site must be second to none".
Wedding flowers... an oxymoron according to George... like
one man band...
or like the
calculation
of
unexpected
loss under the Basel ii framework... you can not calculate
something that is unexpected, he says... (but I have seen it
in
his Basel ii course synopsis...)

Now you think that you have seen everything... but wait...
George's taste in music says much about his personality.... well,
he is definitely
not
an expert in music.
Do you want to know
what he does after a class?
He listens to music...
This
cold war music... He is against communism (to say the very least) but
he listens to red army's songs because "there is passion".
And the green beret... and songs from all the other armies of the
world... He is against war (because he travels every week and peace makes
things easier...) but...
... or...
this
music

Lieutenant George Lekatis, Greek Air Force. He was 23 years old...
80 eer 25 years ago. He served for 24 months. Looks happy.
George
travels almost every week and
lives around the world, but he is always Greek. He loves Greek food...
with virgin olive oil... it is so funny to look for feta cheese in
Singapore or the Caribbean
with
virgin olive oil... and to find it...
In New York, he likes Periyali (near Madison Square Park) and eats
something like Paidakia Dentrolivano and Horiatini Salata...
He has a great love for God and the Greek church.
He also loves discussing about Alcibiades
(sort of management consultant and sovereign fund manager according to
George: Good, Bad, Traitor, Immoral, Hero, Unique). George
has spent more time to understand Alkibiades and his decisions that most men
spend to watch television. I have learned about Alcmaeonidae, the
Peloponnesian War (which has
never ended according to George, as America is like Athens and
Russia is like Sparta, and friends can betray you and become
enemies even today).

Many of George's students (that usually become friends) ask about the books George
likes... well, he enjoys hedge funds related books... and when he is
tired, he reads also about securitization, alternative investments
and... of course about the cold war.
